Hampton Falls Chiropractor: Dr. Kevin Sandberg
While studying Human Biomechanics and Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin, I suffered from low back pain for over a year and thought nothing could help. The pain affected every part of my day. Simple tasks like leaning forward to shave or to pick up books from the floor would cause intense pain. I walked stooped over and leaned on anything sturdy I could find. I tried rest, specific exercises, massage, and even prescription medication. Nothing helped.
A trusted professor recommended me to a renowned chiropractic clinic in Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin. Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical, but I made the forty minute drive where I received a course of chiropractic care that provided complete relief from the pain. I was truly amazed by the turn-around and I have since received regular chiropractic care. These events, my educational background in Biomechanics, and my interest in helping people through natural means made chiropractic the obvious career choice.
After completing study at UW-Madison, I went to work and began finishing prerequisite classes before being accepted to New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) in Seneca Falls, NY. During my four years at NYCC, my course work included biochemistry, gross anatomy, human physiology, pathophysiology, neurology/neuroanatomy, x-ray, diagnosis, and over 900 hours of chiropractic adjusting technique. After graduating I practiced with seasoned chiropractors in New York, North Carolina, and finally in Dover, NH before opening ShoreLine Chiropractic here in Hampton Falls.
From this unique background I have a great appreciation for the body's ability to not only heal, but also thrive when it is provided with the movement, nutrients, and mindset it is designed to have. I get fired up watching people experience levels of health they have never felt before.
